Meet Carol Hipps, DDS, PA

Dr Hipps is a native of North Carolina and grew up in Greensboro N.C.. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and also attended The U.N.C.- C.H. School of Dentistry. While a senior student at the school of dentistry Dr. Hipps was asked to help teach an endodontics, [root canal] course to first year dental students. Upon graduating Dr. Hipps was asked by the faculty to continue as a part time instructor in the crown and bridge department while also practicing private dentistry. While practicing in North Raleigh, Dr. Hipps was also asked by the East Carolina School of Medicine to be an instructor in the Dept. of Family Medicine. She enjoyed working with the residents at the school regarding trauma and emergency dental treatment.


Dr. Hipps has three sons Michael, the oldest, is an attorney in Virginia, Matthew is a science teacher in Charlotte and Sam is a law student at U.N.C. - Chapel Hill. Her hobbies include biking, sailing and traveling as much as possible.


Dr. Hipps opened her practice in Raleigh in 1982 and is committed to providing the highest possible standard of care to her patients. She attends frequent continuing education courses on the latest techniques and technology available in the field of dentistry.
